Summertime is upon us, which means warmer weather, longer days, and more opportunities to get outside and enjoy all that nature offers. To stay safe and healthy, drink plenty of fluids throughout the day, more if you are outdoors. Don’t leave perishable food in the sun or heat for more than two hours, and take advantage of fresh summer fruits and vegetables. Stay active, aiming for 150 minutes of physical activity per week, and protect your skin from the sun with an SPF of at least 15, reapplying every two hours.
