Vision

Inspire a new paradigm for healthcare that is founded in prevention, well-being, flourishing, and compassion for self, others and the world.

Mission

We move our dreams into reality to deliver, teach, and study holistic nursing services for individuals, communities, and the world.

Objectives

  1. Deliver evidence-based coaching and programming that leads to individual, community and population mental and physical health and well-being.
  2. Create experiential learning opportunities for nursing and health science students to practice, study and learn the art and science of well-being and prevention.
  3. Build and sustain partnerships across campus, our community, the nation, and international communities for consultation and delivery of programs and services that advance health, well-being, and prevention.

1-on-1 Health and Wellness Coaching

Receive personalized health and wellness coaching from one of our trained College of Nursing coaches or nurses and improve your health and well-being. Our certified coaches will help you identify the healthy lifestyle choices that matter most to you, then work alongside you to achieve your wellness goals.

Health and Wellness Group Coaching

Our group health and wellness coaching program offers a holistic and evidence-based approach to helping individuals reach their health and wellness goals. Participants will work together toward common health and wellness goals. Example topics include exercise, stress management, sleep quality, healthy eating to manage diabetes, smoking cessation, and relationship health.

MINDSTRONG

Build coping skills and improve your resiliency to help you deal with stress, anxiety or depressed mood, through our MINDSTRONG program. Nearly 20 different research studies show that this evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral skills-building program can help reduce stress, anxiety and depression while improving healthy lifestyle behaviors.

This program consists of seven 45-minute sessions.

Our Center can develop and deliver customized Corporate Wellness offerings focused on what matters to your organization.
