November is National Diabetes Month. One in three American adults has prediabetes. Knowledge is essential for treating diabetes at various stages and supporting overall health and well-being. Healthy lifestyle behaviors such as regular physical activity, managing stress, eating five servings of fruits and vegetables daily, and getting annual healthcare checkups make a difference. Ohio State University resources include diabetes education through the Wexner Medical Center, biometric screening opportunities through Your Plan for Health, and Dining with Diabetes through CFAES.
